Academic Support

Throughout the school year, Palmetto Elementary offers ELPAC Tutoring for students in 2nd through 5th grade to help them build English language skills and prepare for the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC). This program provides targeted support in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, ensuring students gain confidence and improve their proficiency in English. Our tutoring program is designed to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment where students receive customized instruction to enhance their language development.

Some grade levels also offer a variety of after school tutoring programs designed to support students in their academic growth and skill development. These programs provide targeted assistance in key subject areas including math, reading, and homework help. Our teachers and staff work closely with students in a small group setting, ensuring that personalized instruction is used to boost confidence and academic success in our students.
